Over 30 percent of Americans are considered to have excess weight. The is one of the most common medical problems. We address and manage this problem to the individual's needs. Some patients who have excess weight, arthritis and heart problems may not be able to perform significant exercise programs. Their program will be designed to their condition to loose all of the necessary weight. Many patients who are on treatments for various medical conditions and illness may in many cases discontinue medication when adequate weight loss is achieved. Goals of the program include:
Weight Loss Program
This program includes the following components:Simple Meal Plans
No calorie counts. No fat or salt restrictions. No liquid diets. No vegetable-only diets. No diet foods. No specific commercial foods. Meal plans will include everyday foods with specific instructions only.Medications
Only FDA approved and long established medications will be given in many cases, (but not always), according to the individual needs. Medications are individualized for each patient, even different visits for some patients.Exercise Program
Exercise programs are again designed to fit the individual needs. Usually moderate exercise programs are recommended in some cases for patient's with back problems, arthritis and heart problems. Exercises may be limited or restricted until their medical problems have resolved or adequate weight loss is achieved. This qualifies everyone to achieve weight loss in spite of their physical restrictions.
